‘Matador’ actor at helm of ‘Haneh’

Iran actor Poulad Kimiaee appearing in ifilm series ‘Matador’ is at helm of his new film ‘Haneh' set in Poland.

Kimiaee who is no stranger to ifilmers with  ‘Matador’ and ‘The Sixth Person’ said about his new film that penning screenplay is due to end soon.

The actor/director is due to submit a production permit to Iran Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance immediately after the screenplay of the film ‘Haneh’ is completed.

Kimiaee who is the son to famous Iran director Masoud Kimiaee will shoot his new film in Iran and Poland.

The young director is waiting for his first feature, ‘Reverse’ to be screened at local cinemas. The film has social content and co-stars Babak Hamidiyan, Alireza Kamali, Akbar Zanjanpour, Shahram Haghighat-Dost and Leila Zare.

Kimiaee made his television debut with Fereydoon Jeyrani’s series ‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’ (2008).

He has appeared in a number of movies, including ‘The Deal’ (1994), ‘Banquet’ (1995), ‘Soltan’ (1996), ‘Shout’ (1998), ‘Objection’ (1999), ‘Candle in the Wind’ (2003), ‘Friday Soldiers’ (2003), ‘The Verdict’ (2004), ‘The Boss’ (2006), ‘Life with Closed Eyes’ (2008), ‘Crime’ (2010) and ‘Metropol’ (2013).
